The best bottled water in the U.S. finds its way to the best places.
At Mountain Valley Spring Water, the only thing we enjoy more than our purely sourced, purely refreshing water is seeing our water living its best glass-bottled life out in the wild. From NFL locker rooms to hit TV shows to the arms of A-list celebrities, Mountain Valley, one could say, gets around.
We love that for our water.
After spending a 3,000-some years filtering through our protected spring to become the most delicious, most award-winning water in the country, why shouldn’t Mountain Valley Spring Water get out there and have a little fun?
Mountain Valley in the Wild is our way of keeping up with that fun. In this ongoing series, we’ll spotlight the people with whom and the places where our iconic green-bottles have been spotted. Water this amazing finds its way into equally amazing hands. Here’s a look at a few of our favorites from recent history.
Mountain Valley in — the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl locker room
Amid his gloves, pads and jerseys, Chiefs’ defensive tackle Chris Jones kept three bottles of Mountain Valley Spring Water in his locker before the Big Game in Las Vegas in February. Two, we imagine, for each of his prior Super Bowl wins, and one for (really) good luck.
Mountain Valley in — the capable hands of Jeremy Allen White
Our water + The Jeremy Allen White? Yes, chef. It’s so good, we can hardly bear it.
Mountain Valley is — live from New York on Saturday night!
Good humor and great taste collided during a March episode of the 48th season of “Saturday Night Live,” where a green-glass bottle of Mountain Valley can be seen during a mock Tiny Desk Concert starring host-of-the-week Ramy Youssef.
Mountain Valley is — with Sam Malone, Woody Boyd and Veronica Mars
Our water had a “Cheers” moment during a taping of Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson’s podcast, “Where Everybody Knows Your Name” in June. Guest Kristen Bell shared her meet-cute with husband Dax Shepard, and our green-glass bottle was all ears.
Mountain Valley on — Jelly Roll’s rider (along with … socks)
In an interview with American Songwriter, genre-bending country rapper Jelly Roll revealed his backstage must-haves when performing. Mr. Roll, as it turns out, is a simple yet cultured man. His pre-show requisites: new socks and water. But not just any water. “These waters,” he said while holding up a bottle of Mountain Valley Spring Water. “(E)verybody says it is (different) and I’m a believer now.”
Mountain Valley in — “Law & Order” (dun-dun)
In May, a pair of Mountain Valley water bottles (one still, one sparkling, if our eyes don’t deceive us) were spotted on the counter of one of the episode’s suspects. We won’t spoil it for you, but the bottles were found guilty — of thirst slaughter in the first degree.
Mountain Valley is — one of the Brat Pack?
Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Rob Lowe and … Mountain Valley Spring Water! Before anyone had a Brat Summer, the Brat Pack were lighting up movie screens throughout the 1980s. The new Hulu documentary “Brats” gives viewers a closer look at these nostalgic icons as they discuss their Brat feelings around a glass bottle of Mountain Valley.
Mountain Valley in — “A Family Affair”
This new Netflix rom-com stars Nicole Kidman, Zac Effron and Joey King (among so many others). And, in a pretty refreshing supporting role, there’s a bottle of Mountain Valley Spring Water keeping King’s character Zara company at her desk.
Mountain Valley in — the dugout with Bryce Harper
When you’re an eight-time All Star, two-time National League MVP and Rookie of the Year, not just any water will do. The Showman is known to keep coolers of Mountain Valley in the Phillies’ dugout during games and some eagle eye fans caught him in the act of imbibing.
Mountain Valley in — the headlines
- Town & Country magazine name-dropped Mountain Valley Spring Water in its “Weekly Covet.” Editor in chief Stellene Volandes called our water, “absolutely delicious room temperature or straight from the fridge,” noting that, “if Shiv Roy and Gwyneth Paltrow prefer it, what else do you need to know?”
- Gen Z is ditching plastic water bottles in favor of Mountain Valley’s reusable glass jugs, according to folks at The New York Post. “The younger generations … are subscribing to water delivery services that offer aqua in a glass bottle, which is then transported directly to their homes — not unlike what milkmen might do back in the day.”
